Shipping & Returns


We offer flat rate overnight shipping on every order for a fee of $25.00. This always includes insurance, tracking information and signature requirements. All orders are shipped via USPS and are scheduled to arrive on or before the expected delivery date shown in the order confirmation. Some orders may arrive earlier than the expected delivery date if they are ready. You will receive an email confirmation and tracking information once your order ships.

The Diamond Shop understands that jewelry is often given for special surprise occasions such as an engagement. Please let us know what we can do to make sure you maintain your surprise. Special arrangements, such as Saturday delivery, delivery on a particular date, or holding at a USPS location, can be made by contacting us at 1.314.721.2210.


If the item is in stock, it will be shipped no later than the two business day. Keep in mind that we only ship Monday thru Friday. Because we make some items to order, time from order to delivery will vary depending on the item ordered. If the item is not in stock, we can order/make it for you. Every once in a while you may order something that appears to be in stock but may have been sold to someone else while you were shopping online or that may no longer be in our on-site inventory. If this happens, we will start production on your piece or order it from the original artist. Your order confirmation will always contain the expected ship date. If your jewelry purchased from The Diamond Shop needs some upkeep or repair, send it back to us for evaluation. We will assess the piece and we will either fix it up in house or, often, send it back to the artist who originally crafted the piece. Making sure the piece gets the best possible attention from the most appropriate expert can take from 2 to 8 weeks and may involve costs for materials or labor. No work will be done without prior authorization from you. Always include a note letting us know what needs to be repaired, along with your name, address, phone number and email address. At The Diamond Shop, we offer a 30 day money back guarantee; so that you can make sure your purchase is just right. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return it within 30 days for an exchange or full refund. We take pride that our jewelry is produced with the highest standards of quality and excellence!

Please note that returned items must be in their original, unworn condition and accompanied by all original documentation. Due to their personalized nature, the following orders are nonreturnable: items that have been modified, engraved, or resized; items that have previously been exchanged; and custom designed jewelry. If you have a special request for a later delivery date, our 30 day return/exchange period begins on the date that your order was first available to ship. Similarly, if you plan on picking up your ring from our Saint Louis, Missouri showroom, our 30 day return/exchange period begins on the date that your order is available for pick up.


1. Obtain the Return Shipping Authorization Code: After filling out the Return Authorization Form, you will receive an email with return instructions and a return authorization number. Write your return shipping authorization code on the outside of the package you are returning.

2. Packing your order: For all returns and exchanges, include all original packaging and accompanying materials, including the packing slip and all diamond certificates (a $250 replacement fee per certificate will be charged otherwise). For security reasons, do not write jewelry, diamonds or other related words anywhere on the package. Always place the Return Authorization number on the outside of the package.

3. Shipment and Insurance: You must insure your package with the carrier you are using. The Diamond Shop suggests using USPS. You should "double box" your shipment and follow these instructions. Enclose your item inside its original ring/jewelry box. For your convenience, we recommend using the original packaging from your order. Place the ring/jewelry box inside the small box. Place the small box inside the larger box and secure inside with tape. If you do not have the original packaging, please include the ring/jewelry box inside a small box and seal it. Place the small box inside a medium box and secure it. For your protection, please ship your item fully insured, signature required, and request a return receipt for confirmation that your shipment has reached us. The Diamond Shop is not responsible for items lost or damaged while shipping. Should you have any questions about shipping back a return please contact us.


After we receive the returned order, The Diamond Shop will inspect and verify the condition of the item. Returns take approximately seven business days to process upon receipt of the item. The Diamond Shop will refund the original purchase amount of the item via the method of payment used in the original purchase. For all credit card refunds, please allow one monthly billing cycle in order for your credit to appear.

Packages without a return shipping authorization number or packages that were refused delivery will not be accepted for refund and are subject to a minimum restocking charge of $50. Return shipping authorizations are active for five business days from the date of issue and packages must be shipped during the active time period of your return shipping authorization. If your return shipping authorization has expired, please contact us to request another return shipping authorization. All requests for refunds must be in writing via the Return Authorization Form. Any returns showing signs of wear or those that have been engraved, altered, resized, or damaged in any way will not be accepted for return. Improperly packaged or uninsured items will be refused receipt.
