It is that time again for the puppies to invade The Diamond Shop! We are so excited that the APA is partnering with us again this month for our Diamonds & Doggies Events! Our event will be Thursday August 23rd, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Be sure to keep sharing this event with your friends and let’s keep getting these babies adopted!
This month we will certainly have cute adoptable dogs here and 5% of the proceeds of every sale during the event will go to help fund the APA's SafeCare Program. See below for the details for this great program.
Our Stock Liquidation Sale will be going on during the event with savings from 60% to 70% Off! There is even better news, the entire store's in-stock jewelry will be 50% off during the event! Now would be great time to get that awesome piece of jewelry at an amazing price and a Puppy Fix!
The SafeCare program helps those who are seeking refuge from a violent situation have one less thing they love to worry about. Our pets are are family and victims of domestic violence are no different. Unfortunately, many domestic violence victims are faced with the decision of leaving their pets behind when they flee a dangerous situation and many may even delay leaving out of fear of what what will happen to their pet. Many abusers threaten beloved pets to keep the victim from leaving. None of the Domestic Violence Shelters here in St. Louis are equiped or have the ability to house victim's pets on site. That is why 20 years ago, the APA started the SafeCare Program. Once a victim is working with a case worker from one of partner locations, the APA will arrange for boarding and care of these pets for up to 2 months. The pets are vaccinated and microchipped. APA will also offer to spay or neuter at no cost. This program is entirely free of charge to the domestic violence victims. We are happy to help fund this program and all donations from the event will go to the SafeCare Program! To learn more about this program vist the APA services page.
